These are two very similar brands of prescription medication that are injected into muscles to reduce their strength for about 3-4 months.  Bruising at the site of injections may last a few days.  They are botulinum toxin type A, and they work by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles.  For optimal results, it is best to have an expert plastic surgeon perform the treatments, because the location and amount of each injection should be unique to each patient.  These medications reduce wrinkles caused by squinting, concentrating or frowning, and give a happier, more appealing look.
